Islam

We learned about the Muslim religions this past week and i had some unanswered questions. One: is it required for women to were a turban for sports?
Two: Do Muslims believe in a prophet today?
Please, if you have the answers comment them.

I think a turban is a hat-like article of clothing. Do you mean a head scarf? I think devout Muslim women consider the head scarf to be a way of expressing modesty and preventing possible problems. Therefore, it would be reasonable for a woman to wear the scarf in any public location where she would be in contact with non-family members. Now, as with all religions, there is probably a wide variety of how strictly individuals comply with the guidelines of the faith.

Concerning a modern prophet...no, Muslims do not believe in a modern prophet. They belief Muhammad was the final prophet of Allah.
